About PalladiumIP Consultants

PalladiumIP Consultants Ltd is a dual-incorporated intellectual property consulting firm registered in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) and the Republic of Rwanda. The firm provides professional IP services including trademark registration and prosecution, patent filing and advisory, industrial design registration, IP portfolio management, IP training, and UAE company formation across the UAE, GCC, ARIPO, OAPI, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions through its international associate network.

PalladiumIP is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation in litigation proceedings. Where legal representation is required, we will refer clients to appropriately qualified legal practitioners in the relevant jurisdiction.

Professional Services Terms

The engagement of PalladiumIP's professional services is subject to separate client engagement terms, a signed engagement letter or service agreement, and applicable jurisdiction-specific regulatory requirements. These Terms of Use govern your use of the Website only and do not constitute or modify any professional services engagement.

• Fees are set out in individual engagement letters and are quoted exclusive of applicable taxes and government filing fees
• Government filing fees (MOIAT, ARIPO, WIPO, etc.) are disbursements paid on your behalf and are non-refundable once submitted to the relevant IP office
• Our Refund Policy governs cancellation and refund entitlements for training courses and consulting services
• PalladiumIP maintains professional indemnity insurance in respect of its consulting activities

EU & UK Consumer Rights

12.1 Right of Withdrawal

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may have a right to withdraw from a distance contract for services within 14 calendar days of conclusion of the contract, without giving any reason, subject to:

• Where performance of a service has begun with your explicit consent and acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal will be lost upon full performance, the right of withdrawal is forfeited upon complete performance
• For digital content and training courses commenced or downloaded, the right of withdrawal may be excluded where you have expressly consented to immediate performance

To exercise the right of withdrawal, notify us in writing at info@palladium-ip.com within the withdrawal period.

12.2 Online Dispute Resolution

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE. For EU consumers, nothing in this clause prevents you from bringing proceedings before the courts of your country of domicile where entitled to do so under applicable EU law.

Amendments to These Terms

PalladiumIP reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. Revised Terms will be published on this page with an updated "Effective Date". Where material changes are made, we will endeavour to provide reasonable notice by posting a notice on our homepage or notifying registered users by email. Your continued use of the Website after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
